Meet the Heart Behind Pawtastic Paws

We’re Jeffrey and Vicki Bills, the heart and hands behind Pawtastic Paws — a small, responsible Clumber Spaniel breeder devoted to preserving the beauty, health, and joyful spirit of this remarkable breed.

Our journey began with a dream more than 30 years ago. For decades, Jeffrey longed to welcome a Clumber Spaniel into her life, while Jeff was captivated by their soulful eyes, calm temperament, and endearing personalities. That shared dream finally came true when we welcomed not one, but two Clumbers into our home — and into our hearts.

What started as a lifelong wish has grown into a heartfelt commitment to the preservation and betterment of this gentle and noble breed. Our Clumbers are far more than dogs — they are beloved family members who live alongside us in our home, never in kennels. Their days are filled with love, routine, play, and the simple joys of family life.

We believe deeply in quality over quantity, which is why we raise our dogs with intentional care and do not produce multiple litters. Our girl Maizie is a treasured companion first, and a mother only when the time is right — both for her and for the puppies.

What We Look for in Our Puppy Homes

Whether you're seeking a loyal companion, a potential show dog, or a goofy best friend, we’re honored that you're considering welcoming one of our Clumbers into your life. Our top priority is always the lifelong well-being of our puppies. We are selective about their future homes, and here’s what we look for:

• A safe, stable, and loving environment, with a commitment to responsible pet ownership.

• An understanding of the Clumber Spaniel’s unique needs, including regular grooming, moderate exercise, preventive healthcare, and a deep appreciation for their famously gentle personalities.

• No kennels. Clumbers are highly social and thrive in homes where they are included as part of the family. A securely fenced yard is required, and prior dog experience is strongly preferred.

• Ongoing connection. We love staying in touch with our puppy families and appreciate updates, photos, and stories about your Clumber’s life and adventures.
